Product Description
Night recoveries are where small details matter most.
This 10,000kg Reflective Kinetic Recovery Rope is built with reflective fibres running through the entire length of the rope — not just stitched on or added in patches. When headlights or work lights hit it, the whole rope lights up, making it far easier to see the recovery line, direction of pull, and working area.
That extra visibility helps reduce trip hazards, missteps, and confusion when recoveries happen after dark, in bush tracks, beach runs, or low-light conditions.
Performance hasn’t been compromised.
This is a true kinetic rope, made from double-braided nylon, designed to stretch under load and smoothly release stored energy. That controlled stretch reduces shock to recovery points, vehicles, and drivers — especially in snatch recoveries where traction suddenly breaks free.
The 10,000kg rating was chosen deliberately.
Many customers find 8-ton ropes a bit light for loaded utes or touring setups, while 11-ton ropes can be bulkier and heavier than necessary.
This size sits right in the middle — strong, manageable, and practical for the vast majority of modern utes and 4x4s.
Not oversized. Not under-spec’d.
Just the right tool for real recoveries.
Built for Real Recovery.
BASIC INFORMATION TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN USING A KINETIC ROPE
Give it a break after 3 times pulling in a short time to recover its elasticity.
Do not use a kinetic rope on a winch or as a winch cable extension.
Do not use a damaged kinetic rope.
Do not combine or extend this rope with other ropes, webbing, chains or cables.
Do not exceed over 20% elongation of the rope when pulling. Make a mark on the ground for reference if possible.
Do not use a kinetic rope when there is a significant weight discrepancy between the two vehicles.
ALWAYS keep the rope clean and free from Sand.
ALWAYS make sure the two vehicles are at similar weights.
ALWAYS use the correct sized rated shackles.
ALWAYS use rated recovery points that are connected to the CHASSIS.
Avoid slack in the rope.
Avoid tying knots when connecting rope.
Avoid shock load.
