DSB22 to DSB22 V3 Upgrade
This post shows how to upgrade the original DSB22 using the new V3 upgrade kit.
Parts included in the V3 kit:
- the load pin and side plate combined one pc.
- Safety rope
- Retaining components
Removed original parts:
These are the original components removed from the DSB22 during the upgrade. Keep them as spare parts.
Installation steps:
- Attach the safety rope to the small eye of the new V3 safety pin. Once fitted, set it aside ready for installation.
- Remove the existing load pin safety rope from the DSB22.
- Remove the original safety pin that retains the wheel.
- Install the new V3 components and reassemble the DSB22.
Your original DSB22 is now upgraded to the V3 captive-pin setup.
