Hammerlock For Trailer Chain

Hammerlock serves as a legal part for trailer chain extension or safety chain for caravan campers and all other trailers.

Sizes available are 6mm with a breaking force of 4480kg, 7/8mm with a breaking force of 8000kg, and 10mm with a breaking force of 12600kg.

Size suggestions:

  • For ATM 2900kg and below, use 6mm.
  • For ATM 4400kg and below, use 7/8mm or 10mm.

As chain connector:

  • Use 6mm hammerlock for 7/8mm chain or 10mm safety chain.
  • Use 7/8mm hammerlock for 10mm chain or 13mm safety chain.
  • Use 10mm hammerlock for 13mm safety chain.

As hook connector:

  • Use 6mm hammerlock for 6mm hook.
  • Use 7/8mm hammerlock for 7/8mm hook.
  • Use 10mm hammerlock for 10mm hook.
